Research and Interpret 100 then explore through motion graphics
Using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects i constructed an 'obstacle course' which is a part of 'Einsteins Mind' the work shows words from and Einstein quote falling in random order but finally piecing together at the end to make a sentence.
Design the layout for 'ForeFront' typographical magazine for the iPad. Consider the user interface design, navigation and interactivity. Research a typographic designer for the front cover and main feature article
The typographer i was given was Herb Lubalin, finding good resolution images for the task was difficult but eventually i came across a huge stash of images from his book. It was good fun piecing the images together with type, the hardest part was displaying how the iPad can interact with the magazine.
Design the title sequence for a TV programme about phobias for 'Dispatches' on Channel 4 through moving image.
I animated the type using After Effects it was hard getting the type to break apart just how i wanted it, i decided to reanimate the entire sequence with a whole new typeface, i tried to go with an 'english romantic comedy' style to portray the 'love' factor a bit more.
Creatively produce a storyboard, visualising an Unexpected twist from A to C with B being the twist the piece should be displaed as three consecutive images.

I thought an interesting thing about me would be how often i answer a question with yes, no or maybe, the idea being that i and other people find out how open i am to certain questions, the types of questions are Personal, Social and Entertainment displayed in Red, Blue and Yellow, the main image is all the answers together the larger the collection of balloons the more answers i had of that question.

This was a team work brief, my job was to think how the nav worked and the overall flow of the application, putting so many categories and so much information in to one place was difficult but through different methods of browsing and correct nav management the brief was finished.
Choose a charity and redesign the logo
The hardest part of this brief was choosing the right charity for the task, i ended up having 100's of logo's saved to my computer to browse through and choose from, finally i came across MusicAid so after lots of poking and tweaking i came up with this, the website is only concept but i think it could really make a great site.
